Doesn't connect to my phone and no type c connection
I have used Walabot for several years. With the new update I was stuck in a loop and unable to use Walabot with my new phone. Worse, when I clicked on the "contact support" link the link did't work. Some time later Walabot support contacted me and had me delete and then reinstall the app. That fixed it. Overall I like the tool, I just wish it didn't take so long to calibrate before using. After calibration I find it a LOT more useful than the standard stud finders.
Nice little device.
Too invasive to annoying with all the button clicking! Just to be able to get to the point where you can use or even get to calibrating it. Why does a physical item need an account to track you with just so I can look for a stud in the wall? without even a skip option so it's either a paperweight or a tracking device. Potential excellent device greedy execution.
I don't see what the function does as it is presented in the videos. It's not as accurate as the tutorials make it out to be. Cables and pipes cannot be detected very well on a wall that is knock down and neither on concrete.
Handyman. Had high hopes for this product bought for me as a gift at great expense, but it's just too unreliable. The software is ok but keeps disconnecting from phone. Sometimes picks things up ok but often misses things or labels them incorrectly. I've tried and retried it multiple times over the years hoping the software would improve over time. It's just not accurate enough to rely on. Shame.
Incredibly useful around the house. Finds not only studs, but wires, pipes, etc so you never drive a screw in the wrong place again!!

Disconnects after not calibrating, during calibration it will scratch paint off of the walls when used on textured drywall. I have a circle of chipped paint where I attempted to calibrate this device several times to be greeted by "disconnected". Going to use my trusty magnet to find studs.
